We are spiritually empowered and responsible
to transform ourselves
and today's society and culture
We all share in Christ's Priestly Office. Christ is saving the world day by day in and through us, as we work with all people of good will--of all religions and of no religion--to help make ourselves more luminously human. (3) To paraphrase St. Iraneus, "The glory of God is all people fully alive!"
We all share in Christ's prophetic office. To be a prophet means to speak for and proclaim God in word and action. We act prophetically by using our gifts, talents, possibilities and opportunities to uplift (1) today's society and culture in the grace of Christ, without imposing our religion on anyone. Note how many politicians, economic leaders, entertainers and others degrade our society and culture instead of uplifting them. In acting prophetically, we also uplift ourselves.

We all share in Christ's royal or kingly office. We are spiritually empowered and responsible to correct (2) today's society and culture, in the grace of Christ, without imposing our religion on anyone. Note how we can use our gifts, talents, possibilities and opportunities in a correcting way. In correcting our society and culture, we also correct ourselves.
